Quality Standards and Satisfaction Remain High

ISO Inspection and Patient Satisfaction Survey

Castle Craig has recently completed an ISO inspection to ensure our recertification, the outcome was very successful with scores of 100% and three scores of 80% in the domains inspected.

Regulators and accreditation agencies including the CQC and Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS) need to see clear evidence that the highest of standards of clinical governance and management practices are in place and that government regulations and guidelines are being implemented.

We are pleased to say that our ISO inspection echoes that of our regulators, Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS) inspection report received in October 2015, where our grades were six 6s (Excellent) and four 5s (Very Good).

Patient Satisfaction Survey

Castle Craig has recently completed a six month patient satisfaction survey. The results of the survey were very good indeed. 96% of patients graded Castle Craig as either Good, Very Good or Excellent when assessing their Overall Stay.  Grades and comments indicated a particularly high level of satisfaction with staff in general.  No category was graded lower than 81%. Comments included:

“Castle Craig has changed my life”

Areas we are focusing on for future improvement include upgrading of gym equipment and recruitment of an additional fitness instructor.
