Jack came to Castle Craig in August 2007 from a background in teaching, social work and, latterly, 10 years as a Gestalt therapist, supervisor and trainer in private practice.
He is a BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy) registered therapist and UKPBADC (United Kingdom Professional Certification Board of Alcohol and Drug Counsellors) certified drug and alcohol counsellor.
During his time at Castle Craig he has undertaken a full range of duties as therapist and as team leader, supervisor and occasional training support. He has also furthered his interest in working with patients experiencing PTSD symptoms and has undertaken training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and EMDR Therapy.
Since formally retiring in July 2014 he has returned to work with patients who have experienced trauma for two days each week.
