Thai massage helps to release muscle tension, enhance flexibility and energise patients’ bodies. Thai massage can help with detoxification by energising the lymphatic system – the system which boosts the immune system and eliminates metabolic waste products, excess fluid and bacteria from your body. It relieves tension, stress and anxiety and helps to clear and calm the mind.
Thai massage is an ancient form of massage practised in Thailand. It is performed on a thin mat, laid on the floor. Our massage therapist uses hands, feet and elbows to apply pressure to important points along ‘energy lines’ on the body, in combination with gentle yoga stretching techniques.
A Thai massage lasts for around an hour and loose, comfortable clothes are worn. No oils or creams are used.
